Privacy Policy

How AI Career Test handles information. AI Career Test is operated by an individual operator.

This page describes the current service scope. Product behavior and provider availability may change only with corresponding policy and implementation updates.

01Information we handle

We may handle account and login information supplied through Google OAuth, session and security information, assessment responses and results, restricted report-generation inputs, resume or job-description materials when you choose those features, reports and download records, purchase and entitlement records, support communications, security/error logs, and limited analytics information. Payment-card information is handled by Stripe; we do not intend to receive or store full card numbers.

02Feedback submissions

When you use the Feedback form, we save the feedback type and message, an email address only if you choose to provide one, the current page path, submission time, and a basic browser and device category. Feedback may be submitted anonymously. Please do not include assessment answers, report content, payment information, passwords, or other sensitive information. We use feedback to investigate bugs, evaluate suggestions, respond when contact information is provided, and protect the service from abuse. We retain feedback only as long as reasonably needed for those purposes, unless longer retention is required for security, disputes, or law; you may request deletion through support@aicareertest.work.

03Purposes

Assessment, resume, job-description and career information can reveal personal circumstances. Please do not submit information you are not authorized to share. We use information to authenticate accounts, provide requested features, generate and deliver reports, operate purchases and refunds, prevent abuse, respond to support or deletion requests, and meet legal obligations.

04AI processing

For defined report-generation and Career Coach workflows, we may send restricted aggregate inputs such as scores, strongest signals, career-match identifiers, locally mapped Coach intent codes, categorical session-stage codes and categorical score buckets directly to the official DeepSeek API using deepseek-v4-pro with thinking disabled. For ATS resume tailoring that you explicitly start, we may send a minimized set of source resume passages and extracted job-requirement terms to the same official API; contact-like lines, raw files, account/session/order identifiers and export data are excluded from that model request. Returned suggestions are validated against cited source passages before display, but AI output may still be incomplete or unsuitable and must be reviewed by you. DeepSeek is a service provider and may process request data under its own API terms and policies; we do not promise zero provider retention. Other resume/JD data remains on our private Cloudflare service path and is not sent to the model.

05Service providers and transfers

We may use Cloudflare Workers, D1, R2 and Queues; Google OAuth; DeepSeek; Stripe; Resend; Adzuna; Plausible; Google Search Console; and Bing as described by the service. Providers may process data in locations other than yours. Their own terms and policies may apply.

06Retention and choices

Assessment answers and generated reports are retained for 30 days. Resume, job-description and source analysis data are retained for 30 days under the current product design. Career Coach session records are designed to expire after 30 days. Application-layer report download URLs are valid for seven days, and security and error logs are generally retained for 30 to 90 days. Purchase, refund, accounting, fraud-prevention and security records may be retained longer where required by law or reasonably necessary for those purposes. Contact support@aicareertest.work to request access, correction, deletion, or information about applicable choices. Identity verification or limited lawful retention may apply.

07Career Journey tools

If we make Career Journey tools available, we may handle the information you choose to provide for private interview practice, resume projects and confirmed evidence, job descriptions, cover letters, text interview sessions, negotiation planning, saved versions, exports, and a limited link to an existing action-plan item. These tools are private by default. We use this information to provide the requested tool, protect accounts, respond to rights requests, and meet legal obligations.

08Retention and deletion

Private Career Journey source content is designed to be deleted no later than 30 calendar days after it is created or last updated, unless a limited record must be retained for security, disputes, accounting, fraud prevention, or law. Export files are deleted no later than seven days after creation, and a download link is valid for no more than 15 minutes. You may request access, correction, export, or deletion through support@aicareertest.work. We may verify identity before acting.

09Private content boundary

We do not place your private answers, resume or job-description source material, offer details, compensation details, or negotiation text on public pages or in public share cards. Deleting a target job description removes that shared job-description source; saved work that refers to it may remain available only for its own stated retention period and will show that the target was removed.

10Cookies and age requirement

We use necessary session/security and OAuth-related technologies. Optional aggregate Plausible measurement loads only after analytics consent and does not receive account, assessment, resume, job-description, order, payment, or free-text content from our event contract. See the Cookie Policy. The service is intended only for people who are at least 18 years old. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children; if you believe a child supplied personal information, contact us.
