Content standards

Editorial Policy

This policy explains the publication standards for public career guides, ATS resume resources, interview-preparation content, and product explanations.

Last reviewed August 11, 2026

01User task first

Content is organized around a specific user question or decision: understanding a career, comparing a direction, improving resume readability, or preparing evidence for an interview. Pages should provide distinct practical value rather than exist only to target a keyword.

02Sources and factual claims

Career facts should use identifiable, relevant sources such as O*NET, the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics, or another primary or official source where appropriate. Product, pricing, privacy, retention, and AI-processing statements must match the current implemented service and approved policies. Sources do not imply endorsement.

03AI-assisted content

AI tools may assist with drafting, organization, or language review. AI assistance is not treated as evidence. Factual claims still require source or product-contract support, examples must not be presented as a real person’s experience, and content must not invent credentials, outcomes, experts, authors, or endorsements.

04Review and publication

Public catalog entries are released only when required source and review states are available. General guidance and product pages are checked against the current product scope, policy boundaries, and user task before publication. Publication does not turn informational content into professional advice.

05Updates and corrections

Pages may be updated when a source changes, the product changes, a limitation becomes clearer, or an error is reported. Material edits should update the visible review date where the page provides one. Corrections can be reported to support@aicareertest.work with the page URL and supporting source; do not include sensitive personal information.

06Commercial independence

Public guidance is not written to promise a purchase outcome. If sponsored, affiliate, or paid editorial relationships are introduced in the future, they must be clearly disclosed before publication. No such relationship should be inferred where none is stated.
